Hi,I have a 5 mth old Doberman. When we play with her she does real good not biting, but when we are done playing we tell her (done) and off. But then she gets on your lap and bites at our hands my husband and son have some really bad bites from her.

I have a 5-7 month old Border Collie/Aussie or Kelpie mix pup named Emma. I am no stanger to dogs, especially the herding breeds, but I have never seen this type of behavior before. When Emma and I take our almost daily walk, she constantly nips my knees and ankles. I have been advised that this is due to her breed and just a natural herding instinct to keep me in check...
